This camp is for students who like working with computers and will expose students to computer security/information assurance careers.

Engineering Camp

Participants will explore basic engineering concepts, develop, design, and construct air-powered cars, paper/rubber-band powered airplanes, and model rockets  They will utilize software, including RocSim, to analyze performance of rocket-powered vehicles.

New! Food Science Camp: Everything from Lab, to Farm, to Plate

We love to eat food but do you ever think about food...how it’s grown, processed, how to increase its yield, how food is preserved and packaged, or how to increase yield, or handling of food items to ensure their safety? Finish the week with a cookoff!

Forensic Science Camp

Students will take part in a week long science camp involving the role science plays in crime solving investigations. A true hands on experience for those thinking about a career in law enforcement or for those that think a career in research is for them.

Thinking about a career in medicine? You'll starting with classroom lecture, lab and clinical opportunities, and a hospital tour.  Hands-on activities include suturing, phlebotomy, cadaver lab, suturing, patient histories and physicals and much more!

This camp is for those who want to make animal science a career choice. Hands-on lab time plus field trips to a dairy farm, a veterinarian's office and a horse rescue make for an unbeatable experience.

Register for Berks Summer Camp

Credit Card Registrations

One line registration is now active for those who wish to use a credit card. Registrations will occur in real time; just click on the link for the camp you want to enroll your child.  You must also complete the required consent forms and return them to:  Penn State Berks, Continuing Education, P.O. Box 7009, Reading, PA  19610-6009.  Documents can also be FAXED to 610-396-6226 or scanned to emb1@psu.edu.

Check/Money Order Registrations

If you prefer not registering on-line, you can complete a paper registration form.  That completed form should be mailed to:  Noncredit Registration, P.O. BOX 410, State College, PA  16804-0410.   Additional consent forms are  required for your registration to be considered complete.  These forms include the medical authorization form, photography release, liability release, computer access account, and code of conduct.  Those forms should be returned to Penn State Berks, Continuing Education, P.O. Box 7009, Reading, PA  19610-6009. 

NOTE:  You only need to complete one set of paperwork for a child attending multiple camps. If siblings are attending camps, each child should have their own set of paperwork.   If you already completed the medical authorization form on line, you DO NOT need to complete the form again.
