PaSSS Financial Aid

At Penn State starting in the Summer semester is still considered part of the 2016-2017 academic year for Financial Aid purposes.  Therefore, students seeking financial aid for PaSSS MUST complete the previous year’s FAFSA at fafsa.gov before the federal deadline of June 30, 2017. Students who meet the eligibility requirements for the Federal Pell Grant for the 2016-2017 year may receive a Federal Pell Grant for up to $1454 toward PaSSS.

Students may borrow Federal Direct Stafford Loans for summer (2016-2017 FAFSA required); amount of loan eligibility is typically $2750 ($1750 subsidized; $1000 unsubsidized).
