Terry Baker, Senior Lecturer in English, has been teaching at Penn State Berks for eleven years. He joined the professional writing faculty full-time in 2002 and teaches primarily business and technical writing. A special interest of his is usability testing in the writing process.

Baker has freelance writing experience as a business copywriter (print and the Web), technical editor, and journalist. He has also published a history newspaper (Pennsylvania Windows) and two narrative non-fiction history books for young readers, (American Indians Greet William Penn and Colonial Pennsylvania). His first young-adult historical novel, The Longest Walk, is set in Pennsylvania and examines the causes of The French and Indian War.
