Unity Day is an annual Penn State event that helps bring students, faculty, staff and the community together to celebrate diversity.

READING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will hold its Unity Day celebration, an annual Penn State event that helps bring students, faculty, staff and the community together to celebrate diversity, from 12:15-1:15 p.m on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Activities will take place under the tent at the Perkins Plaza, rain or shine. All Unity Day activities are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

"Celebrating Our Similarities While Embracing Our Differences … We Are Penn State" is the theme for this year’s celebration. There will be tables with various items displaying the rich diversity within our community and food from various cultures will be provided. For more information on Unity Day activities, contact Sharon Pitterson-Ogaldez, coordinator of diversity and international programs, at 610-396-6080 or via email at [email protected].
