Penn State Berks benefitting THON, a student group, will hold a “Showcase of Art,” which will display selected work submitted by fourth-graders in Berks County school districts, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the Janssen Conference Center, Penn State Berks. This event is free and open to the public.
Short for the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, THON is a year-long effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. THON's fundraising helps offset the cost of a child's cancer treatment and helps establish research endowments aimed at increasing the cure rates of pediatric cancer treatments.
The students of Penn State Berks benefitting THON strive to raise awareness of the need for pediatric cancer research along with raising money for the cause. If you would like to make a donation to Berks Benefitting THON, click here.
