The Penn State Langan LaunchBox is sponsoring an Idea Challenge for Penn State Berks students. Students can submit ideas as individuals or as teams and submissions can include concepts for businesses and services. Three entries will be awarded $100 each and those winners will have access to mentoring sessions to help them to develop their ideas. All entrants will receive a Langan LaunchBox T-shirt. The deadline for submission is Friday, Nov. 10, and judging will be held in December.

The Langan LaunchBox is a partnership between Penn State Berks and Penn State Health St. Joseph, located in Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Downtown Reading campus. Founded in April 2016, its mission is to enhance community and industry relationships, promote entrepreneurship among Penn State Berks students, utilize entrepreneurship to accelerate business development in medical and health sectors, and provide resources that encourage entrepreneurship across diverse populations in the City of Reading.
