Turnitin and iStudy for Success!
?Turnitin? is a new service that should help strengthen our efforts to promote academic integrity by preventing or detecting plagiarism. Instructors have several choices about how they use the service, and there is full information about at this website: http://tlt.its.psu.edu/turnitin/. It is very important for faculty who want to use it include language in their syllabus to alert students of this possibility. An additional resource is the iStudy for Success! (http://istudy.psu.edu/) instructional module on academic integrity, plagiarism, and copyright. This module works within ANGEL and has been reviewed by academic integrity committees at various colleges and campus locations as well as by Judicial Affairs. The module is appropriate for use in all courses throughout the Penn State community.
