Penn State Great Valley’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree prepares tomorrow’s leaders in strategic thinking, problem solving, effective communication, innovation, and ethical leadership.
Courses are led by premier faculty who combine their research with business enterprise expertise to give students a valuable and innovative classroom experience. Our applications-oriented program explores real-world issues through case studies, projects, simulations, and guest lecturers who are leaders in business and industry.
Program Length
Penn State Berks business and accounting students can obtain their MBA degree at Penn State Great Valley within one year of completing their four-year undergraduate program at Berks if taking a full-time course load. Students can also attend part-time, and complete the program in two to three years. This allows students to be fully employed and attend graduate school part-time. GMAT Waiver
Students are eligible for a GMAT waiver if they meet the following requirements:
- With the help of an adviser, select seven prescribed business courses offered at Berks; you must complete three of these courses with a grade of B or better
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Complete at least a one-semester internship or one-year of full time professional work that pertains to the student’s field of study
- Secure a reference letter from a full-time Penn State Berks faculty member
