Participants will explore basic engineering concepts, develop, design, and construct free-standing structures, air-powered cars, and model rockets. Campers will utilize software, including RocSim, to analyze performance of rocket-powered vehicles.
Students will take part in a week-long science camp involving the role science plays in crime solving investigations. A true hands-on experience for those thinking about a career in law enforcement or criminology research.
Thinking about a career in medicine? This experience introduces campers who are interested in pursuing careers in the medical field by combining classroom theory with hands-on lab exercises, demonstrations and field trips.
This camp is designed for students interested in exploring animal science as a career option. Students are offered both observational and hands-on laboratory exercises and take a tour of a veterinary small animal clinic.
Students will explore the superlative language of plays through daily workshops in voice, movement, analysis of text, and acting. Students of theatre learn by DOING, and the focus of the workshops will be on performing.
