This Residence Life Community Catalyst Award recognizes an event or initiative that brought the residential community together in a meaningful way that ignited growth and community spirit. It celebrates steps taken to build trust, make connections, and strengthen the feeling of belonging in the Residence Halls. It recognizes an effort that sparked new energy in the community, encouraged engagement, and left a lasting impact.
Eligibility
Event or initiative must be planned and executed in the residential hall area on the Berks campus in the year of nomination.
Criteria for Judging
The winning initiative or event will have:
- Focused on the creation/development of a welcoming residential community and the sense of belonging and engagement for residential students.
- Contributed meaningfully to the growth and well being of the community, fostered connections, and had a lasting impact.
- Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and engagement.
- Nominations should include a description of the event or initiative, and how it meets the above criteria.
