Maddie Malfara speaks at Penn State Brandywine's commencement.

After receiving her diploma from Chancellor Kristin Woolever, Penn State Brandywine biology graduate Maddie Malfara took a moment to thank family, friends and faculty members for their support. In addition to being a member of the campus' softball team, Malfara was a Schreyer Honors Scholar who conducted research alongside Assistant Professor of Biology Megan Povelones.

EarthFest 2019

The Penn State Berks Sustainability Team, led by Mahsa Kazempour, hosted the third Earth Fest event on Monday April 22. More than 20 stations of engaging activities, demonstrations, and presentation were led by students, faculty and staff, and community organizations. The event was free and open to the public and approximately 150 participants attended. Participants helped build a plastic bottle greenhouse, made pollinator garden seed bombs, created structures out of recycled items, and much more!
