9:00 a.m. Welcome Students and Family Members Multipurpose Room, PSC
WE ARE... excited to have Dr. R. Keith Hillkirk, Penn State Berks Chancellor and Mr. Joseph Webb, Interim Director of Student Affairs welcome you to the Penn State Berks community.

9:15 a.m. Campus Resource Panel Discussion Multipurpose Room, PSC
Representatives from a variety of offices will discuss their roles in helping students to excel during their time at Penn State Berks, including: Academic Support Services, Bookstore, Health Services, Housing and Food Services, Information Technology, Library Services, Police Services, Student Aid, Career Services, Counseling Services, and Student Services.

10:00 a.m. Family & Parent Orientation Room 3, PSC
Talk with staff and other parents about the resources available to you, and the changing relationship with your student during their transition to college.

10:00 a.m. Student Life Multipurpose Room, PSC
This staff and student led session will help you to start thinking about how you can get involved and find your place at Penn State Berks!

10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Lunch Cyber Café, Gaige Building Lobby
Enjoy lunch, along with specialty drinks and Penn State's famous Berkey Creamery Ice Cream. Supporters are encouraged to mingle with other supporters and Orientation Leaders while your student schedules classes.

11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Tours of Campus 1st Floor Lobby, PSC
The Orientation Leaders will guide you around the campus. Crucial to your academic success at the Berks campus is a knowledge and orientation of the library, computer labs, tutoring center, classrooms and support services.

**Our first tour will take place at 11:00 a.m. for students that already have a schedule. Bring your schedule, and your Orientation Leader will tailor your tour!

**Orientation Leaders will be available for tours as students conclude their Advising and Registration sessions.

11:30 a.m. Advisement and Registration Room 246, Gaige Building
This session is for all new degree, non-degree, and provisional students who
have taken the placement exam, but have not scheduled or registered for classes.

Sunday, January 6, 2018 Ivy House

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Residence Hall Check-in for all New Residential Students Ivy House

Inclement Weather Policy

We hope that all travels to our program will be safe, especially if the weather is less than ideal.

In case of inclement weather, please call the Penn State Berks Weatherline at 610-396-6375 for updates regarding
delays and campus closures.

If the campus is operating on a delayed schedule, the program will delay the same amount of time as that delay up to 1.5 hours.

If the campus is delayed more than 1.5 hours or closed on Thursday, January 3, this program will take place on Friday, January 4.

If weather prevents your attendance to this program, please stop by the Office of Campus Life to retrieve your welcome items.
