At Penn State Berks we encourage all prospective and current students to proactively research and apply for non-Berks "outside" scholarships.
The following are some suggestions for you to consider but there are many other sources for you to research on your own.
- If you are in High School, ask your guidance counselor for recommendations and ask your parents if their employer awards scholarships to children of employees.
- Current Berks students: ask your academic adviser and faculty if your major has scholarship opportunities (i.e., The College of Agriculture, The Smeal College of Business, etc.).
- Everyone can ask about scholarships at your local library, community organizations, and organizations that you are involved in (i.e., The 4H, The Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of USA, etc.).
