Dr. Aydemir-Döke had her PhD in counselor education and supervision from Penn State University. Since August 2019 , she has been working as an assistant Professor at Rehabilitation and human Services Program at Penn State, Berks. She is teaching RHS 100, RHS 302, and RHS 401 classes. Her research is focusing on ableist microaggressions, psychological wellbeing of people with disabilities, disability counseling competencies, and clinical supervision. She published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters as well as presented local, national, and international conferences.
