I have been in education for almost 40 years. Most of those years were spent as a secondary teacher at Henderson High School in West Chester, PA teaching Economics, European History and serving as Department Chair. Also, for more than 30 years I taught Economics as an adjunct instructor at Alvernia, Albright and Lebanon Valley Colleges. I have also served for many years on SAP (Student Assistant Committees) and At Risk Committees to help those students who have special academic and personal problems. Over the years I have been especially interested in developing best practices in teaching, alternative assessment tools and applying theories of multiple intelligences to traditional educational settings.
