Objective 1:

Students will display the ability to think conceptually and critically about text, performance, and production.

Objective 2:

Students will display an understanding of playwriting and production processes, aesthetic properties of style, and the way these shape and are shaped by artistic and cultural forces.

Objective 3:

Students will display an acquaintance with a wide selection of theatre repertory including the principal eras, genres, and cultural sources.

Objective 4:

Students will display the ability to develop and defend informed judgments about theatre.

Objective 5:

Students will successfully complete assignments in performance or design/technology on several productions, encompassing a variety of performance styles.

Objective 6:

Students will display ability in areas of performance and production or playwriting appropriate to individual needs and interests.

Objective 7:

Students will display an understanding of procedures and approaches for realizing a variety of theatrical styles.

Objective 8:

Students will display intermediate to advanced competence in one or more theatre specializations in creation, performance, scholarship, or teaching.

Objective 9:

Students will successfully complete assignments based scholarly or pedagogical aspects of theatre.
