Program Overview
Complete Penn State (CPS) is a student success initiative designed to help Penn State students who are close to completing their degree but face financial or academic barriers. The program’s mission is to provide targeted support and resources to ensure students can graduate on time.
Application timeline:
- Applications for 2025-26 are open now and will close on June 30, 2026.
- Applications for 2026-27 will open July 1, 2026, and will close on June 30, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for CPS assistance:
- Students must:
- be within 30 credits or fewer of completing their bachelor's degree, or
- be within 15 credits or fewer of completing their associate's degree.
- Submit your "Intent to Graduate" via LionPATH.
- Demonstrate financial need based on FAFSA data.
- Be currently enrolled at Penn State.

- Log in using your Penn State credentials.
- Complete all required fields, including academic and financial information.
- Review your responses and submit the form online.
Award Attributes
Eligible students may receive up to $3,000 in total CPS scholarship aid. Individual award amounts will vary based on financial need and the availability of funds. To request support for either spring or summer, students are asked to submit their requests no later than June 1st.
