Program Overview
The Penn State Berks Scholarship program provides financial support to current students who demonstrate both academic achievement and financial need. These scholarships are designed to help Berks students continue their education and remain on track toward graduation. Annual awards are made from a variety of campus-specific funds, typically ranging from $1,250 to $1,500. Most scholarships are not automatically renewable, but students may reapply each year.
Application Timeline
- March: The Penn State Berks Campus Scholarship Application is emailed to all Berks students’ Penn State email addresses. Announcements are also posted on the Penn State Berks Financial Aid Instagram and Stall Stories.
- May 1: Application deadline. All applications must be submitted by this date for consideration.
- June – July: Students selected to receive a Berks Scholarship will be notified through their Penn State email.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a Berks Scholarship, students must:
- Have an up-to-date FAFSA on file for the upcoming academic year.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher at the end of the spring semester.
- Be returning to Penn State Berks for at least the fall semester.
