We don’t know how it gets better than this. The Penn State Berks Office of Continuing Education will offer two sections of the non-credit course “Taylor Swift, Gender, and Communication” during the Maymester sessions. One section will be held in-person on from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, from May 1 through May 29, while the other section will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, from April 30 through May 28, in a hybrid format.
The Penn State Berks Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development Center hosted its annual Student Enterprise Award ceremony on March 25.
Penn State Berks is currently accepting proposals for the Creative AI Minds Challenge, an event for high school students, through April 22. The challenge is open to all high school student teams who aim to make the world a better place using artificial intelligence and machine learning, regardless of their technical skills.
The Penn State Berks International Klub will host a Holi celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5, on Luerssen Field. The event is free and open to the public.
Lolita Paff, associate professor of business and economics at Penn State Berks, and Scott Showalter, professor of chemistry and of biochemistry and molecular biology in the Eberly College of Science, are the recipients of the 2024 Milton S. Eisenhower Award for Distinguished Teaching.
Penn State Altoona will hold a “Breakfast and Learn” presentation by Larry Garvin, instructor in information sciences and technology at Penn State Altoona, from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in room 001 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
