Thomas Jay Lynn, associate professor of English at Penn State Berks, has published his first book — “Chinua Achebe and The Politics of Narration: Envisioning Language”.
The recent Niche 2018 Top Public Universities of Pennsylvania ranking places Penn State Berks in fourth place among public colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. According to Niche, Penn State campuses are treated as their own entities in the ranking and Berks is the highest rated campus outside University Park.
Prospective students and their families are invited to a visitation program at Penn State Berks at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Perkins Student Center, located just off Broadcasting Road in Wyomissing. The event is part of the University's "Penn State Day" in which Penn State campuses throughout the state host visitation programs throughout the month of October.

The Penn State Berks Kinesiology Department is celebrating Exercise Is Medicine Week from Oct. 2 to 6, 2017, with a variety of events, including daily 20-minute walks on campus and various activities on the lawn of the Perkins Student Center. All events are open to students, faculty and staff and participants can earn points for the number of activities completed during the week to remit for a water bottle or a T-shirt.
