"Where Beauty's At": Expressions of Black Visual CultureFeb. 2–Sept. 9, Eberly Family Special Collections Library, 104 Paterno Library. Drawing upon Penn State's Special Collections and University Archives, the exhibition explores historical and creative works by Black writers and artists and considers the relationship between history, politics, creativity and visual expression. Works on view include poetry broadsides, posters, book cover designs, photograph albums and artists' books.

Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses and the state’s community colleges have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities in Pennsylvania and removing barriers to degree completion among college students. The collaboration builds upon long-standing relationships between the campuses and the community colleges and a shared commitment to access and affordability in higher education.

Berks hosts lecture on mass of everyday objects via particle physics perspective

Temple University Professor of Physics Andreas Metz will present “Understanding the mass of everyday objects from the perspective of particle physics” on Wednesday, March 27. A reception will begin at 4 p.m. in the college’s Freyberger Gallery and the lecture begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
