Penn State Berks embodies the very best of The Pennsylvania State University. As one of the largest and most well-developed campuses, Penn State Berks is a vibrant academic community rich in talent, intellectual curiosity, and community-minded ideals.

Since its inception in 1958, Penn State Berks has been a destination of choice for thousands of students. Tucked into the beautiful landscape of Berks County, the campus combines the idyllic atmosphere of a small college with the powerful resources available through a major research university.

Throughout its history Penn State Berks has been at the forefront of responding to the educational needs of the Commonwealth. New curricular offerings and increased choices for baccalaureate programs mean that each year there is a growing number of students who choose to complete their degree at the Penn State Berks campus.

Part of the success of Penn State Berks must be attributed to the Berks County community, which has a long history of involvement with the university and has demonstrated tremendous support. This deep connection and sense of community has enhanced the education of all Penn State Berks students.

As we complete 60 years, we will continue to pursue ways to strengthen our relationship with the regional community. Penn State Berks is committed to being a part of the region's success.

We would like to invite students, faculty, staff, alumni, and neighbors to celebrate 60 years of growth, research and excellence with us.
