Penn State Berks held a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students, faculty and staff on Sept. 8. The clinic was held in partnership with Giant Pharmacy.
As part of the "Global Oscars Comes to Berks," Penn State Berks will present the film "Les Misérables," at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, in room 5 of the Luerssen Building. The presentation is free and open to the public.
NFL defensive end Michael Sam will visit Penn State Berks at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, as a part of the college’s Arts and Lecture Series. This event will take place in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, and it is free and open to the public.

Penn State Berks Counseling Services and the Caring Conversations student organization hosted a mural painting event on September 7. The mural, titled Hope Blossoms, was commissioned by the Berks Suicide Prevention Task Force and designed by local artist Greg Didyoung. Panels are being painted by community members and the finished piece will be installed on a building in the city of Reading in September, which is Suicide Prevention Month.
The ninth annual Penn State Berks Latino Forum is a free event for students from all Berks County high schools, as well as members of the local Latinx community. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Javier Ávila, who will present a one-man show titled "The Perfect Latino."
