Students in the Bellisario College of Communications produced a video for the Penn State Office of Strategic Communications as part of a course that combines the fundamentals of video production with the opportunity to conceptualize, pitch and create video content for a real-world client.
Lack of access to capital is one of the primary barriers facing Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. That's why Penn State alumna Aniyia Williams launched Black & Brown Founders, a nonprofit organization providing community, education and financial access to Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, allowing them to launch and build tech businesses with modest resources.
Ed Laquidara, founder and curator of Animal Adventures, New England’s largest privately owned animal rescue center of its kind, and his animal friends will visit Penn State Berks at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, on the Perkins Student Center Lawn Tent. This event is free and open to the public.
