Many prospective students are anxious about choosing the best college for their academic and social needs. To help students make that important decision, Penn State Berks has launched “Welcome to College,” a tool that allows prospective students to connect with current Penn State Berks students.
Verde Mantis, a coworking company that emerged from the Penn State Berks LaunchBox, is partnering with TheGeekGrid Studios to bring a Fallout 76 life-size suit of armor to life in preparation for the upcoming PA S.T.E.A.M. Fest on Aug. 21-22.

Kaiya Kizuka, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at Penn State Berks, earned a spot on the U.S. World Championship Snowboard Team and will compete at the 2021 FIS Snowboard World Championships in Rogla, Slovenia on March 1 and 2.
In honor of Black History Month, Penn State Berks will host Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, on February 16, at 7 p.m. This presentation will be virtual and it is free and open to the public.
The Berks LaunchBox recently awarded five startup companies with newly funded, “Grow Your Startup Grants,” which provide entrepreneurs participating in Berks LaunchBox programs with $500 towards a need they have identified, specifically relating to talent or education.
