Our tours are led by Lion Ambassadors, who are current students able to answer your questions about what it's like to study at Penn State Berks. There are two ways to tour campus:

Penn State Day Open House

Are you thinking about applying to Penn State? You and your family are invited to our biggest open house of the year to discover how Penn State Berks may be your perfect college fit! Learn about undergraduate research opportunities, Division III athletics, internship opportunities, and more. You'll also tour campus with our Lion Ambassadors (student tour guides) and have the opportunity to speak with faculty about your academic interests. We are Penn State. 2023 Latino Forum

Friday, October 13
9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The 11th annual Penn State Berks Latino Forum is a free event for students from all Berks County high schools, as well as members of the local community. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Roy Juarez, Jr., who founded the human development company IMPACTtruth, Inc. in 2005 with a dream to inspire youth and reunite families by sharing his turbulent, yet inspirational, life story. 

The keynote will be followed by campus tours, which must be requested in advance. To request a tour, email Nicole Tavarez at [email protected].

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Penn State Berks 4th Annual Fall Fest

Friday, October 20
5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Penn State Berks invites you and your family to join us for a free evening of Halloween-inspired fun on our beautiful campus!

Family Fun* — 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Penn State Berks faculty, staff, students, and alumni have thrills and chills planned in the Perkins Plaza! Bring your children to trick or treat while dancing to Halloween tunes! Enjoy games, hayrides with our famous Farmer Santa, our transformed Thun Library, autumnal snacks, and more.

Pre-registration* is required for this part of the event, and a waiver for all minors must be submitted electronically.

Haunted Campus Tours — 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Did you know that Penn State Berks is the home to some very real ghosts and scary legends? Join our spooky Lion Ambassadors (student tour guides) for spine-chilling stories as they guide you to the most eerie parts of our campus. The final tour departs at 8:30 p.m. Registration is not required for haunted tours.

Saturday Tour

The best way to discover if Penn State Berks is your perfect college choice is to visit, and you're invited to join a Lion Ambassador, our student tour guides, to check out our beautiful campus! These tours are approximately an hour long and will take you through our academic buildings, student life center, campus bookstore, and outside of our on-campus residence halls. Admissions counselors will also be there to answer any questions you may have. Space is limited for this guided tour, so register for your visit today!
