Spend a Summer Day at Penn State Berks

Saturday, August 1
9:00 a.m.

Spend a Summer Day is one of the best ways to experience our campus firsthand and get the information you need to move confidently through your college search. Modeled as an open house-style visit, this event brings together the people and places that shape the Berks experience, so you can explore academics, student life, and next steps all in one visit

Your day will feature an admissions presentation, including in-depth guidance on the application process and what to expect after you apply. You’ll also learn about Penn State’s more than 275 degree programs and the 20 baccalaureate and associate degrees students can complete entirely at Penn State Berks.

Beyond the essentials, you’ll discover how Berks students build momentum through undergraduate research, internships, student activities, and NCAA Division III Athletics.

After the presentation, you and your guests will take a full campus tour led by our student Lion Ambassadors, who can share what it’s really like to live and learn at Berks. This program concludes with a sweet Berks tradition: Penn State’s famous Berkey Creamery ice cream.

Bonus for Attendees: students who participate receive a Penn State Application Fee Waiver. Registration is required and space may be limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.
