The Penn State Berks Bookstore is in the Hintz Building located between the Thun Library and Luersson Science Building. Whether you need textbooks, spirit wear, or an afternoon snack, we have you covered!

Spring and fall semesters
- Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Summer semester
- Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Here for you with textbooks, supplies and snacks
Students can order textbooks online, in-store, or rent them through LionPATH! Orders placed through the Penn State Bookstore website can be ordered for delivery or store pick-up. You can using credit/debit card, financial aid, or veterans' benefits.
Textbooks are also available to buy or rent (in most cases) directly in the bookstore.
Beyond textbooks, the bookstore also carries some novels and other books about everything from learning to cook, to the history of Penn State football and the nittany lion shrine.
The bookstore also carries supplies ranging from notebooks to high-end calculators; notebooks; pens, pencils, and highlighters; and more. The bookstore also offers some electronic devices and accessories, including portable speakers, earbuds, charging cables and headphones. Note that the bookstore does NOT currently sell computers, printers, or supplies for them at this time.
Their cooler contains a variety of drinks, and they also offer a selection of snacks, candy, protein/nutrition bars, and more, for quick bite between classes. In a pinch? You can find some general grooming, hygiene, and laundry items here, too!
Channel your school spirit
Stop by the bookstore to find Penn State and Penn State Berks merch and gifts. Are you a D&D player? The bookstore also carries some supplies for tabletop gaming!
Prior to the end of each term, the bookstore hosts a Grad Fair, an event for graduating students to finalize plans with the registrar, shop for a class ring with a representative from Josten's, and buy their graduation cap and gown. This is also the perfect place to stop and show off your degree with a diploma frame or padded holder.
The bookstore accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as Lion Cash and cash. Unfortunately, meal plan payments and personal checks are not accepted at the bookstore.
