Biography
Dr. Brian Samble serves as the director of student affairs at Penn State Berks. Formerly of Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., Dr. Samble served as the dean of students to approximately 2,700 students. He was integral in obtaining grants for student programs developed to address alcohol use and to combat sexual violence. He has experience in establishing college-town relations and in leading efforts to create a sense of belonging on campus.
Dr. Samble received the M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Ma., the Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tn., and he completed the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education (MLE) at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
