How do you know if you're a transfer student?
Penn State applicants come from a variety of backgrounds, and the admissions process varies slightly depending on where you’re coming from. Various applicant types include:
- Transfer Student
- Transfer students have attempted 18+ college credits (after graduating from high school).
- First-Year Student
- First-year students have attempted fewer than 18 college credits.
- Change of Campus
- Already a Penn State student and looking to change your campus location? You will want to change your location/campus information in LionPATH. There is no need to reapply! This process is handled through the Registrar’s Office. Feel free to contact them for more information.
- Re-Enrollment
- Did you previously attend Penn State University in the past? If so, there is no need to reapply. Just complete the Re-Enrollment form and submit it to the Registrar’s Office. This process is handled through the Registrar’s Office. Feel free to contact them for more information.
