Sandra Nevitt has spent over thirty years in the field of public education. She was a reading and special education teacher at the elementary and secondary levels in urban and suburban settings. She also supervised a Head Start progaram in a rural area of New Jersey. Most recently, Ms. Nevitt was an elementary principal in the Wilson School District. She taught graduate classes in administration and supervised student teachers at Alvernia College before coming to Penn State. Ms. Nevitt has been actively involved in the Berks County community including a year spent in the Leadership Berks Program.
