Ray Gene Young Memorial Scholarship
Purpose
This scholarship shall provide recognition and financial assistance to undergraduate students pursuing an associate or baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering and attending the Penn State Berks Campus who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.
Eligibility
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students pursuing an associate or baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering and attending Penn State Berks who are of average academic ability or who manifest promise of academic success, and who have a demonstrated financial need. This scholarship is intended to be awarded to students who are maintaining the minimum grade point average as required by the major, but who would generally not qualify for scholarship support based on merit.
Amount of Award
The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of each shall be determined by the selection committee.
