B.A. in Writing and Digital Media Requirements

A minimum of 123 credits is required for the bachelor's degree in Writing and Digital Media. 84 credits are required general education courses, electives, and baccalaureate requirements, and 39 credits are specific to the major.

Formal admission to the major requires 60 credits and a 2.0 GPA.  However, even before you have 60 credits, please contact the Program Coordinator for advising and other important information. GENERAL EDUCATION: 46 credits (Includes 1-3 credits of First-Year Seminar)

BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 24 credits
Foreign Language: proficiency of 12 credits of coursework or the equivalent
Arts: 3 credits
Humanities: 3 credits
Social and Behavioral Sciences: 3 credits
Other Cultures: 3 credits
Electives: 15 credits

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MAJOR: 39 credits
