Profile:

Dr. Bathish had previously taught full time--nine years at Central Michigan University and two years at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. She has been teaching part-time at Penn State-Berks since January of 2003. Her teaching included graduate courses in Urban-Regional Economics, as well as environmental Economics undergraduate courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance and Money and Banking.

Dr. Bathish has been a member of the American Economic Association since 1979. She is currently vice president and financial manager at Nabil S. Muallem M.D., P.C in Wyomissing Pennsylvania.

Her volunteer work includes serving as treasurer and later board president at Montessori Country Day School in Wyomissing, serving as board member and treasurer at The Nazareth Project in Lancaster. Dr. Bathish has been serving the Borough of Wyomissing as a member of the Zoning Hearing Board since 1999.

She is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Hebrew.
