A scenic, one-hour round trip walk to Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital, via the historic Union Canal Trail through Gring's Mill Recreation Area. Sponsored by LionPulse, an initiative to enhance health and wellness within the Penn State Community.

Street performers, freebies, inflatables and other attractions will provide fun for the whole family! Meander across the lawns of the beautiful Penn State Berks Campus and enjoy these free activities.

Register online by September 13th if you and members of your family plan to attend the free picnic lunch on Saturday, September 28 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on the Perkins Lawn. The picnic is free for Penn State Berks students, alumni, employees and their families.
Due to space limitations, the maximum number of guests per party is five. If you are a family member of a current Berks student, please include them in your count. Advance registration required.

Mini Tent
Berks alumni are invited to stop by the Alumni Tent, located by the Beaver Community Center, to pick up a free alumni gift, enjoy light refreshments, and mingle with faculty, staff, and fellow alumni.
Homecoming Parade

Students, faculty and staff will show “Once Upon a Time at Berks” as they make their way across campus in their custom-made floats. Follow the signs for the best view between Luerssen and Perkins!
