Penn State Berks will host a screening of the film "DIVEST! The Climate Movement on Tour," followed by a panel discussion, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
Imane Guisse, a junior at Penn State Berks, was one of 25 students nationwide to receive a scholarship from the World Affairs Council of America to attend the Future of American Leadership Conference, set for Nov. 15-17 in Washington, D.C.

The Penn State Langan LaunchBox is sponsoring an Idea Challenge for Penn State Berks students. Students can submit ideas as individuals or as teams and submissions can include concepts for businesses and services. Three entries will be awarded $100 each. The deadline for submission is Nov. 10.
Penn State Berks students will visit the Police Athletic Center in Reading to serve Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 16. Students will arrive at 4 p.m. and begin the day by doing crafts with the Olivet Boys & Girls Club youth and then serve Thanksgiving dinner.
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Penn State Berks will hold a variety of events during the week of Nov. 13–19. The college has several lectures planned for aspiring student entrepreneurs and one event is open to the public. The events are sponsored in part by the Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development Center.

A new class of 164 Penn State Berks students will receive their baccalaureate and associate degrees at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Beaver Community Center, when Berks hosts its fall 2017 commencement ceremony. The honorary keynote speaker this year will be alumnus Victor H. Hammel, chairman of Rentokil North America, and retired CEO of J.C. Ehrlich.
