The Penn State Berks logo is a part of the larger visual identity standards that uphold the brand that is Penn State. These standards produce a cohesive look from one part of the University to another. It allows for instant recognition that something or someone is a part of Penn State. The job of Strategic Communications is to uphold the visual identity standards and maintain the integrity of the brand.
Logo Use
The Penn State Berks logo has been built into the larger brand structure. It should not be altered in any way. This includes things such as cropping, dismantling, stretching, changing colors, adding other elements, etc. The various official versions of the logo are housed in Strategic Communications and can be requested on a need basis. Can I create my own logo?
Penn State policy does not allow for divisions within the University to create their own logos. To maintain the brand of the University, there are typographical treatment options available that accompany the Penn State Berks logo. Strategic Communications can facilitate these options.
