Jocelyn Scholz Memorial Scholarship
Purpose
This scholarship shall be to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled at the Penn State Berks Campus and who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.
Eligibility
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled at the Penn State Berks Campus majoring in Elementary Education. Eligible students should possess a true love of teaching and a sincere caring for children and have demonstrated the potential of being a good teacher. In addition, eligible students shall have achieved solid academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success, and have a demonstrated financial need.
Amount of the Award
The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of each shall be determined by the selection committee. This scholarship is awarded annually.
