Nine adult students inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda

Nine adult students at Penn State Berks?including two staff members?were recently inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, a national honor society for adult students in continuing higher education. The Society is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship and the recognition of high scholastic achievement in an adult student?s career. Students must have a 3.2 GPA to qualify, and all the Penn State Berks inductees had GPAs above a 3.5.

Inductees included: Cristian A. Avalos, Afiyo A. Awouya, Richard C. Beswick, Kathleen Cavanaugh, Thannaree Charoenpokkasap, Andrea E. Hill, Frederick J. Jaschick, Kenneth J. Minton, Roy W. Thompson.

Kathleen Cavanaugh is an Administrative Support Assistant in Continuing Education and Roy Thompson is a Mechanical Laboratory Technician at Penn State Berks.
