Penn State Berks alumni who played for the college?s Rugby Team will reunite for first annual Penn State Berks Alumni vs Student Rugby Match on Saturday, April 23, 2016, starting at 3 p.m. A series of games will be held, rain or shine, behind the Beaver Community Center on the new artificial turf athletic field.
Since the establishment of the Penn State Berks Rugby Club in 2004, more than 150 students have played under head coach Bruce Hale and assistant coach Mark Dawson. Many of the members of the 2010 team who won the National Small College Rugby Organization Championship are reuniting for this special event.
