Spoken word poet Rudy Francisco address issues of race, politics, love

Spoken word poet Rudy Francisco will address issues of racial politics, love, domestic violence, and religion on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, Penn State Berks. This event is free and open to the public.

Francisco approaches topics with wit and quirkiness that allow his audience a sense of comfort while he tackles serious issues. He is the 2009 National Underground Poetry Slam Champion, the 2010 San Diego Grand Slam Champion, the 2010 San Francisco Grand Slam Champion, and the 2010 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion.
?Scotch Tape? is Francisco?s third EP. In this album, he delves into his life story by offering narratives. The EP covers a gamut of emotions and subject matters.
