Students volunteer in the community

Penn State Berks students will be ?lending their paws for a good cause? as they volunteer at a variety of nonprofit organizations during the academic year. The following is a list of community service initiatives in February 2016.

Wednesday, February 3, 1?2:30 p.m.
Students will socialize with residents of Country Meadows while competing with and alongside them in one of their most competitive games?Wii Bowling.

Monday, February 8, 5?8:00 p.m.
Volunteers will prepare, cook and serve a meal for the clients at Opportunity House.

Friday, February 19, 1?2:00 p.m.
Students will walk dogs, clean kennels, and assist with donation inventory at the Animal Rescue League.

Wednesday, January 24, 4?5 p.m.
Volunteers will participate in a Reading Enrichment Program with the youth at the Olivet Boys and Girls Club at the Walnut Street location.
