COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 12-0 victory on the road over SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions finish the regular season with an overall record of 14-2-2 and are 12-0 in conference competition. Berks won its fourth straight NEAC Regular-Season Championship and will host the postseason tournament November 7?8, 2015.
Lizzie Mummau had a game-high two goals scored and Julia Green handed out a season-best two assists. Zoey Gillespie and Shelby Baker each tallied one goal and one assist. Paige Elmy and Becky Webster combined for two saves to record the 11th shutout of the season.
The Nittany Lions will face the winner of the quarterfinal contest between No. 4 seed Keuka College and No. 5 seed Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, November 7.
