In observance of Veterans Day, Félix Alfonso ?Poncho? Peña, a Vietnam veteran and writer, will speak about the 40th anniversary of the withdrawal of U.S. personnel from Vietnam on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 7 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, Penn State Berks. This event is free and open to the public.
Peña is a former Copy Editor and writer for The Reading Eagle and a Vietnam veteran (Jan. '70?April '71, 173rd Airborne Brigade and N/75th Airborne Ranger). He has been a guest speaker for the college?s Literature and Culture course in the past and his engaging and insightful talks have been popular with audiences.
