The Berks County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will hold its 28th Annual Alumni and Friends Golf Outing on Friday, May 15, 2015, at Golden Oaks Golf Club. The golf tournament is a scramble format with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and the registration fee is $105 per person.
All proceeds from the outing will benefit the Chapter?s scholarship fundraising drive. The Chapter has already raised $30,000 toward their goal of $50,000. The fund will assist deserving students from Berks County to attend Penn State Berks.
Special guest Keith Urgo, Penn State Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach, will be on-hand to meet and greet attendees throughout the day?s events. The outing will be followed by a dinner, award ceremony, and silent auction.
The Chapter is seeking event sponsors and donations of autographed memorabilia, sports items, or other ?large? prizes for their post-outing silent auction. Donors of these items will receive recognition in the event program and at the auction table.
