WYOMISSING, Pa. — The Penn State Berks Campus Activities Board (CAB) will celebrate Spring Week with a wide variety of virtual and in-person activities from April 11–17. With this year’s theme, “Roaring through the Decades,” students can expect to see a variety of contests, challenges and activities with prizes available for the winners.
The festivities will kickoff on Sunday, April 11, with a Decades Kahoot Trivia Challenge at 5 p.m. in the Lion’s Den, as well as on Zoom, where students will compete to demonstrate their pop culture knowledge. Monday evening, April 12, CAB will host a live/virtual Magic Show with Trigg Watson at 6 p.m. in Perkins Auditorium and on Zoom. On Tuesday, April 13, CAB will host a return of the trivia night, with Name that Decades Tune Kahoot Trivia in both the Lion’s Den and on Zoom, offering a second chance for trivia buffs to show off their knowledge. Then Crazy Bob will bring a Battle of the Sexes game show to the Lion’s Den at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night, April 14, with participants also able to join virtually on Zoom.
On Thursday, April 15, students will have an opportunity to tie-dye a Spring Week t-shirt, rain or shine Weather permitting, the tie-dye event will be held on Perkins Lawn, with a rain location of the Lion’s Den. Then, at 7 p.m., Dominque Jackson, an actress best known for her leading role as Elektra Abundance on the FX series "Pose," will present the final Arts and Lecture Series event of the semester. The week of activities concludes with an opportunity for students to tie-dye facemasks and participate in Hollywood Glam Bingo at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 16.
