UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — National Coffee with a Cop Day is Wednesday, Oct. 6, and Penn State police officers are celebrating by giving away coffee and snacks at Penn State campuses across Pennsylvania.
Penn State employees and students are invited to stop by one of these events to grab some free refreshments while getting to know the Penn State police officers who serve their campus. Employees and students also can ask questions and learn about the programs and services offered by University Police, a unit within University Police and Public Safety.
“Throughout the year, Penn State police officers host community events to engage with and support our community members. National Coffee with a Cop Day is another way for our officers to show appreciation to our community,” said Charlie Noffsinger, associate vice president of University Police and Public Safety.
Police officers at the following campuses will host free events. Employees and students are encouraged to arrive early, as refreshments are available while supplies last.
