Berks student awarded funding for Sustainability Institute project

Penn State Berks student Andrew Harakel, a senior Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology major, received funding for the proposal he submitted to the Penn State Sustainability Institute Reinvention Fund Project titled ?Operation Dyson.? Working with adviser Mark Dawson, Assistant Director of Business Services at Penn State Berks, Harakel?s proposal was to install six hand dryers in the Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building and two hand dryers in the Thun Library. The hand dryers will be installed this summer. Penn State Berks was one of three campuses outside University Park to receive funding through the Sustainability Institute.
