Applied Psychology students serve lunch and career advice at Opportunity House

Penn State Berks Applied Psychology students completing their senior internship seminar class chose a community service event to complete as a group. Approximately 22 seniors will volunteer at Opportunity House in Reading on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 11:30 a.m.?1 p.m. They will serve lunch in the soup kitchen and also provide the attendees with helpful information about finding employment. The students have created brochures that will be distributed concerning the following topics: resume writing, computer skills, professional dress, cover letters and correspondence with employers, and stress management.
