Career Services provides transportation to upcoming job fairs

ANNOUNCEMENT: Penn State Berks Career Services will NOT be providing transportation to the career expos on Wednesday, February 5 or Thursday, February 6 due to inclement weather.

Transportation will be provided to Berks students for University Park Spring Career Days on Tues., March 25, (for non-technical majors) and Wed., March 26, (for technical majors) on a first-come, first-served basis. This event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days. Students should sign-up in the Career Services Office. The deadline to register is Fri., March 21, and there is a $10 registration fee to hold a seat on the van, which will be reimbursed. The van will leave Berks at 8 a.m. and return to campus around 6:30 p.m. each day. Attendees must wear professional attire and should bring at least 30 copies of their resume.

In addition, other career-related events include the LVCCE Career Fair on Wed., Feb. 26, from 12 to 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Fogelsville; the CPEC Job and Internship Fair on Tues, Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center; Education Career Day on Mon., March 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (interviews from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Penn Stater Conference Center, University Park; and the College of Communications Job Expo on Fri., March 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HUB Building, Alumni Hall. Attendees must wear professional attire and bring at least 30 copies of their resume. Transportation will not be provided to these events.
